Carpet cleaning in Westchase and Carrollwood

Westchase — built in the nineties, kept up since
The Bridges, The Greens, Harbor Links, Radcliffe, Stonebridge, West Park Village. Well-maintained homes on their second or third carpet, often a decent nylon or a good polyester, with carpeted stairs and a bonus room. Gated villages: give us the code or add us at the guardhouse. Most Westchase jobs are a full upstairs plus a sectional.

Carrollwood Village — built in the seventies and eighties
Bigger lots, mature oaks, and a fair amount of original or one-generation-old carpet that’s been looked after. These clean up remarkably; the older nylon in Carrollwood is often better fiber than what’s in a 2015 build. Also the highest concentration of wool area rugs anywhere we work — see below.

Rugs on hardwood: the Carrollwood job
Half the houses here have hardwood or tile in the living areas with a wool or oriental rug on top. That changes what “carpet cleaning” means.
We don’t steam-clean a wool rug on a hardwood floor. The wood gets wet, the rug’s cotton foundation stays damp against it, and in this humidity you get a browning ring on the rug and a cupped board underneath. Wool and hand-knotted rugs are rolled, collected and washed on our wash floor, then returned flat and dry three to five days later. Synthetic rugs can be cleaned in the home over a tarp.

Dogs sleep in bedrooms here. UV check every time; pad treatment where needed.
Lanai and pool-deck tile
Pavers and travertine after the rainy season. Tile and grout.
