Who actually cleans your carpet

A small, owner-run crew based in Tampa. The person who quotes your job is usually the person holding the wand, and the number on the phone is a person, not a call center.

Owner-operated carpet cleaning crew at work in a Tampa home

Marcus Delgado, owner and lead technician

I started on a truck for another company in 2010 and bought my own in 2014. I’ve cleaned carpet in every kind of Tampa house there is — 1920s Hyde Park bungalows, Bayshore condos with no hose access, brand-new builds in Riverview with the drywall dust still in the pile.

What I learned in those first years working for someone else is most of what this company is built to avoid: the phone quote that changes at the door, the “deodorizer” upsell that doesn’t reach the pad, the rushed pre-spray that leaves brown wicking spots the next morning. Customers noticed those things then and they notice them now — you can read it in every review of every carpet cleaner in Tampa.

So the rules here are simple. The phone price is the price. We bring a UV lamp to every pet job and show you what we find before quoting it. We tell you when a spot is permanent, when a rug shouldn’t be steam cleaned, and when replacing the carpet is cheaper than saving it. And if a room isn’t right, we come back within seven days at no charge.

  • Trained in hot water extraction and applied structural drying — the two disciplines a Florida carpet actually needs.
  • Licensed and insured in Florida. General liability and workers’ comp; certificate emailed on request.
  • Truck-mounted hot water extraction plus a high-output portable for condos and upper floors.
  • Background-checked crew of three, all with more than five years on the wand.

How we work

Quoted on the phone, or from a photo

Rooms, fiber, pets. That’s enough for a real price. Text a photo of the room or the sofa tag and it’s faster still.

Walk-through first

Five minutes at the door to confirm rooms, check the fiber, note spots and hand you the price in writing before anything is unloaded.

Honest about limits

Bleach spots, sun-fade, urine in the slab, viscose rugs, S-code sofas. We’d rather lose the job than take your money for a result we know won’t hold.

Dry before we leave

Dry pass, grooming, air movers set. Most rooms walkable in four to six hours even in August.

Seven-day re-clean guarantee

Any room you’re not happy with, we return free within seven days. Pet treatment carries a 30-day return.

Same phone number since 2014

(656) 253-8300, answered by us during working hours. Forms replied to the next working morning.

The equipment, and why it matters here

Most complaints about carpet cleaning in Tampa — still wet the next day, soapy feel, brown spots — are equipment problems dressed up as service problems.

  • Truck-mounted hot water extraction

Water heated on the truck and held near 200°F at the wand, with a vacuum strong enough to pull it back out of the pad. It’s the difference between carpet that dries in five hours and carpet that dries in two days.

  • High-output portable

For Bayshore high-rises, Harbour Island and any building where a hose can’t reach the door. Slower than the truck, still far ahead of anything you can rent, and we say which one we’re using before you book.

  • Rotary agitation

A counter-rotating brush machine that works the pre-conditioner into the base of the pile on traffic lanes. Skipping this step is why sprayed-and-extracted carpet looks clean wet and gray dry.

  • UV lamp and moisture meter

On every pet job and every water job. We show you what we find before we quote, not after you’ve paid.

  • Air movers

Set before we leave, at no charge, on slab floors and heavily soiled rooms. Dry time is part of the job, not your problem afterwards.

Where the years went

A short version of what we’ve learned from cleaning Tampa floors since 2014.

The first lesson was humidity. Methods that work fine in a dry climate leave a pad wet for days here, and a wet pad is where every smell and every brown spot starts. So we changed the process: sand out before water goes in, less water, more vacuum, air moving before the van leaves.

The second was that the house tells you what’s needed before the customer does. A 1920s Hyde Park bungalow has wool or an old blend that wants cooler water and neutral chemistry. A 2019 Riverview build has builder polyester that mats and needs grooming more than scrubbing. A Brandon ranch has a nylon from 1998 that will come up like new if you give the pre-spray time. We price by the room, but we clean by the carpet.

The third was to stop selling things at the door. Customers who’ve been through the “the phone said $99, the invoice said $340” routine can smell it coming. Our price is set on the phone. If we find something the quote didn’t cover, you see it, you hear the number, you decide.

The fourth was to say no. No to steam cleaning a wool rug on a hardwood floor. No to promising a smell will go when it’s in the slab. No to cleaning a carpet that’s cheaper to replace. Every one of those “no”s has cost us a job and earned us a referral.

What the guarantee actually covers

Written down so there’s no argument later.

Any room you’re not happy with, we come back within seven days and re-clean it at no charge. Spots that wick back up, a traffic lane that didn’t come up as far as we said it would, a smell that lingers — call, and we’re back. Pet treatment at Level 1 or 2 carries a 30-day return.

What it doesn’t cover, and what we tell you before we start: permanent damage such as bleach spots, sun fade, worn fiber, dye loss from old urine, and anything we flagged on the walk-through as “improve, not fix”. If we haven’t said it’s fixable, it isn’t covered — and we’d rather say so than surprise you.
